Today I am showing another cardboard building technique that is highly versatile. As I mentioned in the tabs entry, makers often want cardboard to stand straight up like a wall, and this is another way to do it. The best part: no glue necessary!
Basically, you will be cutting a slot in each piece and fitting the pieces together. The width of the slots should match the thickness of the cardboard, so you will need to cut two lines very close to each other. This enables the pieces to fit together without pinching. When pinched, the cardboard wants to flatten, which is not useful for standing up. See video below for step by step instructions!
